I have been out-of-pocket for a couple months with a busy family summer and big projects at my day job. (I missed you all!) Things are starting to settle now, so I have a few moments to update you on some exciting news.
First, I am proud to have won the Poetry Is Life “A Mother’s Love” contest in May, which won me a cash prize and this beautiful canvas of a family camping photo:
Joey Poetry has also been published or accepted for publication in the following anthologies:
- “The Was I Was” appears in the 2024 Nat’l & Int’l Goddess Anthology Honoring Women, 2024
- “Shark in the Shallows” has been selected to appear in the 2024 Ohio Bards Poetry Anthology, 2024
- “Last Word” has been selected to appear in Common Thread, 2024
In the upcoming weeks, I’ll be posting more regularly to the blog and socials. Yes, new graphics and videos to entertain you! I’m also working on some new shirts and gifts for the upcoming holiday season. It feels so good to be back in my creative spaces!!
